If your calcium carbonate hardness level is above 250, you may need to change the carbon block and membrane more frequently than every 6 months. The device is designed to switch off if the membrane or pre-filters are clogged. As the system recycles the water rejected by the membrane, the TDS value of the water entering the membrane filter continually increases. Therefore, water with a higher TDS is likely to have more frequent carbon block and membrane changes. It is recommended to always have at least one spare carbon filter and membrane on hand with the device.

Filter levels:

1 – Quick change sediment filter 5 μm: removes coarse particles, e.g. E.g. sand, rust, chlorine, lime.

Change interval: 1-3 months (depending on water consumption and quality)

2 – Quick change composite / activated carbon filter : removes chlorine and organic contaminants.

Change interval: 12 months

3 – Quick-change membrane 50 GPD: removes almost 100% of all pollutants and aromas

Change interval: 24-36 months (depending on water consumption and quality)

4 - Quick-change insert filter: Hygiene post-filter antibacterial: Removes 99% of bacteria and viruses and improves the taste.

Change interval: 12 months
